I think the biggest contrast here is Effie. Katniss and Peeta are about to relive the events they barely survived, again but here you can really see that Effie is concerned, worried and somewhat distraught, compared to the first picture. I can really imagine that instead of her up-beat cheer-y tone, she is now deadpan and realises the true horror behind it and she has difficulty saying that ‘Your tributes…from District 12… Katniss…Everdeen and Peeta Mellark…"
